Whangateau traditional boats was established in 1946, and is situated north of auckland, new zealand. owned and operated by george emtage and pam cundy, whangateau traditional boats is a classic. The association hosts a number of annual events on lake rotoiti in the bay of plenty (north island, new zealand) including the annual wooden boat parade, dinghies & more, runabout rally, lake circumnavigation / poker run, long lazy lunch, light parade, mid-winter dinner, fishing fun..
