Clarkson's boat building yard was described as being 200 yards (180 m) south of dock end. clarkson's was noted for building cobles, and was probably one of the shipyards to do this in whitby on a regular basis. dates of the business are not exact, but william clarkson is recorded as building boats in 1933, with gordon clarkson building boats up. Boat building is the design and construction of boats and their systems. this includes at a minimum a hull, with propulsion, mechanical, spars include the mast, boom, gaff, yard, bowsprit, prod, boomkin, pole and dolphin striker. sole: the floor of a cabin or cockpit.. Doug jackson built a 74 ft boat right in his front yard. he spearheaded building the ship known as sv seeker 7 years ago in tulsa oklahoma and people joined in to help. now with help from.
