I went to local lake and rented a row boat. the sides, back and front were about 16" high and about 4' wide so i decided to use those dimensions. and the sides and back were to be cut from a single sheet so it could only be 8' long max. so now to make a box 8' x 4' x 16" with some tweaking to make it boat like! lets go....
