The q-boat (serial f-com/09), also dubbed q's fishing boat, is a fictional q branch-designed experimental speedboat. the vessel appeared in the 1999 james bond film the world is not enough along with its 2000 video game adaption.. Q is a 52m luxury sail super yacht available for charter built in 2008, refitted in 2014. charter up to 10 guests in 5 cabins (1 master, 3 double & 2 twin) with a crew of 9.. The boat was given to a sea scout unit in the sf bay area. the q-628 was given to the berkeley sea scouts about 1990. renamed st. ambrose, i think. they were probably the last q-boats in the army's inventory. i have some photos if anyones interested. keywords: q-628 and q-630 (beach range patrol boats at ft. ord, ca.).
